Avenida Gruesa

Wide chimney system from bottom to top, stay in it the whole way and you will be reborn again at the summit. The first pitch goes up a slabby waterfall feature that then starts with heel toe action. You can place smaller cams as you will need the big boy soon. Next section of pitch 1 I walked the number 8 cam for 30 feet of 5.8 chimney and after finding smaller cracks, I belayed inside the small cave. Pitch 2 has series of cruxes lined up at the beginning middle and top.   Thrash your way up by stemming and  jamming yourself in the chimneys. It is recommended to have the 8 camalot for the last 30 ft section as it is wide and not much gear fits
